College Station Engagement : Misty & Matt
They're both from small towns, but at opposite ends of the state of Texas. While attending Texas A&M, Misty and Matt met each other on campus. Not just once, but a lot of times. It seems that something was just forcing them to meet again and again until a relationship finally formed. They both LOVE sports, whether playing it or watching, so naturally their first date was at the A&M football game. Four years exactly after that first date, Matt proposed the day before opening game at Kyle Field. So this is a very Aggie engagement session, that I happily drove about 4 or so hours for this beautiful location that holds a very special meaning to them.
The Century Tree. So amazing. A photographers dream tree! Tradition says that if a couple walks together under the branches of the Century Tree, one of the oldest trees on campus, they will eventually marry. If the proposal takes place under the Century Tree, the marriage is supposed to last forever. This was Matt and Misty's first time to walk under the tree.
This is where they ran into each other.
"I adore how kind and genuine Matt is to everyone he meets. He's not afraid to walk up to anyone and strike up a conversation. Many times I've asked him who the person is he was talking to, and his response is always, "Oh, I don't know, I just met them"." - Misty
"I adore Misty's faith in God. From the very beginning of our relationship, we've always gone to Mass together and it's something that's brought us closer in our own faith and relationship. Because we became so comfortable in our faith together at an early stage, it was a very stable part of our relationship." - Matt
