Dallas Engagement // Cilia & Michael

Cilia looks absolutely divine in red doesn't she? Michael look's pretty dapper too. ;) For Cilia's second look, she rented a gorgeous velvet dress from Rent the Runway, which is a brilliant service I love recommending to each of my engagement session clients. One of my favorite podcasts 'How I Built This with Guy Raz' recently interviewed the ladies who started the service! It's a fascinating and inspiring story. 

Cilia & Michael wanted to take their engagements around the Farmers Market District, where they live. We had access to a spectacular skyline view via the top of their apartment's parking garage. We also took an Uber together to bounce around Downtown and not have to worry about parking, which was nice. We ended their session under the lights where Michael originally proposed. It's a fun challenge to photograph at night with only available ambient light. Steady hand, steady breath....oh and high ISO, wide open aperture, low-ish shutter speed and shooting on RAW! :)
