An Intimate Creek in Grapevine Engagement // Hunter & Clint

Since today is an overcast day in Texas, I thought I'd share this overcast-lit engagement session. Hunter suggested a place located behind her mother's home in Grapevine, the area she grew up in. This was the same creek that Hunter and Clint would jump into as they hung out when they were younger, so they've known each other for quite some time. It was just a lovely location and I am absolutely inspired by shooting in new places, especially if it holds a special meaning for my couples.

So, the weather on the day of the session turned out to be a tad sketchy. It was lookin' like rain, we could see lightning in the distance, and heard some nearby thunder. Also, it was overcast, hot and humid, but Hunter & Clint did a wonderful job ignoring all of that and displaying their happy love to each other. I'm very much excited for their Classic Oaks Ranch wedding in Mansfield next year! I mean...there's camels on the property. I'm super stoked about that. AND of course I'm simply excited about documenting their special day. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know these two.
