Just Married | Kaitlin & Brad // Earle Harrison House & Pape Gardens
“To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known and not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God. It is what we need more than anything. It liberates us from pretense, humbles us out of our self-righteousness, and fortifies us for any difficulty life can throw at us.” - Tim Keller
Kaitlin's father seeing his daughter in her dress for the first time...(I started tearing up too!).
Immediately before proposing to Kaitlin, Brad thoughtfully asked to wash her feet as a symbol of his love and service. Such a tender moment it was. "Brad is incredibly selfless and he consistently puts others ahead of himself. This symbol of sacrificial love meant so much to me because he lives it every day." - Kaitlin.
So, Kaitlin wanted to surprise him with a return of that symbol during their first look.
I adore weddings. There is just so much excitement, good energy and emotion in the air. When I photograph weddings, I am fully present, therefore after I leave a wedding, I usually am just so full of love and even though my feet and back may be tired and achy, I come home feeling super joyous. I just love love. Genuine, real love.
Thank you for having me, Kaitlin and Brad. I absolutely loved being there to document the day.
