The Dram Dallas Bridals : Julie
Julie is a fabulous bride, who knows just what she wants. With her interior design background, Julie wanted to take her bridals in an eccentric location that showcased her sense of style, personality and love for tufted sofa's, vintage floral wallpaper, gaudy chandeliers and mismatching, eclectic picture frames. When Julie first moved to Dallas, she used to work for the owner of The Dram who is now like a big brother to her, so he willingly allowed for us to use his marvelous space. She had been dreaming of using this space before she was engaged! And I personally LOVED the opportunity of working in this inspiring location, a photographers dream spot! I tried my best to use the available natural light coming in from the windows as much as I could (as it's usually a dark bar).
Where did you get your accessories?
"Accessories were a true find! I shopped every retail store and boutique in town for a chunky pearl necklace and finally came across some shady and random website that said they no longer had any in stock. Heartbroken because I had finally had the perfect necklace after tireless hours and feeling doubtful...I went ahead and emailed them. The owner felt for my struggle and dug around in her store room until she found just one more and shipped it instantly! I wanted a bracelet that stood out and was Sex in The City-ish, lots of brides wear pearls but never the big, dramatic pearls so chunky designer style I desired! My bridesmaid Natalie used fishing line on that bad boy around my wrist, transforming from a necklace into a bracelet the day of the wedding!"
