Chelsea & Russell. Engagement.

Chelsea and Russell met each other while attending the University of North Texas. Chelsea was in Sigma Alpha while Russell was in BYX. They had been friends for a few years before they realized their feelings for each other. You could say she had a "school girl" crush on him for months before they dated. One day, Chelsea begged Russell (so he claims) to take the same Spanish class together. They began to study together and got to know each other better. Today, they often joke about how the romantic language of Spanish is was brought these two together. Russell, who is an old high school friend of mine, recently graduated in May and Chelsea will be graduating in August. They will begin their lives together this September and I'm looking forward to documenting it!

We began the session at Russell's house he's renting. Denton has some pretty spectacular, old houses.

Then we headed to Mad World Records, which allowed us to do some pictures inside! Russell is a HUGE movie buff.

Then we went to Atomic Candy, a new, quirky candy store in Denton.

Before Chelsea even got engaged, she was a guest at a wedding I was photographing. She introduced herself to me, told me how much she adored my work and said how she would love for me to be her wedding photographer someday. I was beyond flattered! Right after she got engaged she contacted me and pretty much made sure i was open to photograph her wedding before she made the date official. I love my clients! :-)
