What is the first look you may ask. Well I assure you it is awesome. Also it is quite beneficial in many aspects, from awesome emotional pictures to the flow of your wedding day.

The first look is when the bride and groom opt to see each other before the actual ceremony. By doing the first look, we don’t have to play “hide and seek” with the groom before the ceremony, which may mean less stress! We are also able to take all of the wedding party and family group portraits before the ceremony, which allows everyone to arrive at the reception together. The couple gets to see each other for the first time alone, instead of in front of hundreds of people and because of this they are able to say how they feel and let their emotions take over, unlike if they waited to see each other at the alter for the first time. I’m also able to capture the emotions of how the groom feels about seeing his bride for the first time and the groom usually has a more genuine look on his face when he doesn’t have everybody staring at him while the bride is waking down the aisle towards him. Think about it.

I know the first look may not be for everyone. If you want to keep it traditional, it’s totally cool and up to YOU! What matters most is that we do what makes you and your loved one happy.
